Aria V2 DH

DH / Free ride air shock

ARIA V2 – NOW AVAILABLE IN DOWNHILL VERSION

The ARIA family expands with the introduction of the DH version, developed to meet the needs of different disciplines.
The downhill version sets itself apart from the Enduro model primarily by introducing a more DH-specific hydraulic bottom-out control tune, which generates 20% more force at the end of the stroke to absorb heavy impacts.

It also features a dedicated tune optimized for longer shock strokes and omits the lockout lever (LOK), as pedal efficiency is not a priority on downhill bikes.

SENSITIVITY IS NOTHING WITHOUT SUPPORT

AS3 patented technology allows for unlimited customization of the spring curve. By separately adjusting the pressure in the two positive chambers (+ and ++), the rider can control both the degree of progressivity throughout the travel and the exact point in the stroke where it begins to build.

The result is a suspension system that delivers great small-bump sensitivity, along with excellent mid-stroke and end-stroke support, eliminating the trade-offs typical of traditional air suspensions.

The + chamber, characterized by the black valve, provides the necessary support to the system and controls the shock’s sensitivity over the first ~60% of travel.

Pressure inside the positive chamber sets and defines the dynamic sag position and controls the behavior for the first 60% of the shock’s travel. For this reason, positive chamber pressure is directly tied to the rider’s weight and riding style.

The ++ chamber, identified by its nickel-finished valve, controls sensitivity through the mid-to-late stroke (the remaining ~40%) and fine-tunes the ramp-up.

Shock progressivity is adjusted via the ++ chamber. Raising or lowering the pressure in the ++ chamber allows riders to fine-tune the air spring curve for a more progressive or linear feel. Increasing ++ chamber pressure delivers greater mid- and end-stroke support, whereas reducing it yields a more linear response.

Reducing the voluaame tokens will inevitably sacrifice support in the early and mid-stroke, causing the bike to dive too easily through repeated bumps or under heavy braking

You only need the 600 psi shock pump supplied with Aria V2 to fine-tune the shock’s progression.

CUSTOM SETUP FOR DIFFERENT KINEMATICS

Different bikes demand different suspension characteristics. Thanks to AS3 technology, ARIA V2 offers the flexibility required to match the leverage curve of different rear linkage designs, whether linear or progressive. Rather than forcing a single air-spring behavior onto different bikes, the system allows the shock to be tuned around the characteristics of the bike itself.

OPTIMIZED LAYOUT, GREATER COMPATIBILITY

The new layout enables compatibility with a wider range of frames. The piggyback orientation, now vertical on the Aria V2 and Aria V2 DH, and the reduced footprint of the valve block expand installation possibilities.

IMPROVED SMOOTHNESS AND REDUCED FRICTION

By optimizing seal profiles and materials, the design minimizes drag throughout the entire stroke, enhancing sensitivity and consistent performance.

The bushing is now positioned internally and in direct contact with the oil, ensuring smoother movement and further reducing friction across the full travel
