Extreme Racing Shox is a leading Italian engineering company in damper system, motions control for motorsport racing, OE automotive, motorcycle, MTB industry, biomedical and seismic sector either active or passive systems.
The know-how gained since the early 1980s has been poured into highly performing products currently used in ultra-high level competitions such as WRC, F1, off-road, motocross and MTB.

HISTORY
From its foundation in 2011, EXT has constantly grown every year. EXT can count today on 35 high-skilled employees who work with passion and determination.
Franco Fratton, our technical director, is one of the most experienced suspensions engineer in the world, achieving almost every technical innovation in the field of racing damping solution starting from 1985.
He started his career in the ‘70s at Fox shocks race as Rd engineer, helping to develop a new era on racing dampers technologies and knowledge. In 1985 he worked in Ferrari f1 as consultant for “damper systems” introducing 3-way adjustable dampers.
From 90s to 2010s he keeps working with some of the best companies in the world, developing almost any of the current technologies in use nowadays.
Since his entrance in EXT in 2011, he managed to keep us focused on research & development as the fundamental of our company,allowing us to gain an undisputed leadership in damping innovation.
